The Town of Coats is proud to be a place where community spirit shines through creativity, service, and neighbors helping neighbors. One recent example of that spirit comes from Girl Scout Troop 491, who partnered with Heather Adams of Apogee Art Studio to create a special coloring page just for the Town of Coats.
This unique coloring sheet invites residents of all ages to participate in celebrating the town by drawing and coloring what they love most about Coats. Whether it’s a favorite park, a local event, a downtown landmark, or simply the friendly people who make the town feel like home, the page encourages everyone to share their personal connection to the community through art.
The printable sheet is designed to be fun, creative, and meaningful. Families, children, and visitors can download it, print it at home, and add their own drawings that highlight the places and experiences that make Coats special. It’s a simple but powerful way to showcase the pride people feel for their town.
Girl Scout Troop 491 has also been actively involved in giving back to the community in other ways. Most recently, the troop volunteered their time to help fill hundreds of Easter eggs in preparation for the Town’s Easter in the Park celebration. Their willingness to lend a helping hand shows the dedication these young leaders have to supporting events and activities that bring the community together.
From creating artwork that celebrates the town to volunteering behind the scenes at community events, the girls of Troop 491 continue to demonstrate what it means to be active and caring members of the Coats community.
Residents are encouraged to download the coloring sheet, get creative, and share what makes Coats feel like home to them.
