Welcome to the Parks and Recreation Department

Coats Parks and Recreation manages the towns' recreational facilities in the heart of Coats, NC, offering residents and visitors access to outdoor fun and community programming. The main park includes athletic fields, a walking track, a playground, picnic shelters, and a concession area. The department also oversees youth sports leagues, special events, and volunteer opportunities. Coats Parks serve as a central hub for recreation, connection, and wellness in the community.

Coats Park is a community park offering something for all ages to enjoy. The park features a playground for kids, two ball fields, two concession areas, a picnic shelter with tables, a pickleball court, a small basketball court, a short walking trail, and public restrooms. Whether you're here for a game, a stroll, or a family picnic, Coats Park is the perfect spot to relax, play, and connect with your community.
